From Ocixem to Mexico

About this Quest
You are a citizen of the planet named Ocixem (which happens to be Mexico spelled backwards!). You are a member of a flight crew of investigators from your planet to take a journey to Mexico to decide if it would be an acceptable place to establish a colony for your people. The facts you gather will be used as you make a presentation to your supervisors upon returning to Ocixem with your findings. Be sure you find out all there is to know about the country of Mexico!

Introduction

From about the year 500 B.C., the country of Mexico has been inhabited by very advanced civilizations. The effects of these cultural systems of government, religion, and learning along with its diverse physical features and geography have created a varied and dynamic country we know today as Mexico. It is a country of contrasts based on the culture, weather and climate, geography and physical features, and natural resources available to the people of its individual regions. What is life like today for the people of Mexico? How are people's lives shaped based on the conditions in which they live? Would you choose to live in Mexico if given the opportunity? You and your fellow space travelers from the planet Ocixem will work cooperatively to select your new home base in Mexico after each flight specialist brings to the group facts and information gained from investigation through web sites you will be given. Good luck in your investigation and your decision!
